In this role, you'll:

You will work with the Director of People and Culture for Sydney Metro to lead the People Programs portfolio across Sydney Metro, encompassing culture, diversity and inclusion, engagement, recognition and capability development.

You’ll be accountable for the design, prioritisation, integration and delivery of enterprise people programs, translating People & Culture strategy into sequenced, evidence-based initiatives that drive measurable workforce and organisational outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in defining and promoting strategies in partnership with TfNSW to develop and nurture leadership capability within the organisation and wider transport enterprise.

This temporary position until June 2028 is located in our George Street, Sydney office. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance and approved remote working.

About you

Tertiary qualified or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience, you’ll have demonstrated experience in driving People & Culture programs for continuous improvement.

You’ll have demonstrated capability in aligning and translating People & Culture process driven business requirements into business and operational outcomes.

You’ll have demonstrate success as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executives and senior leaders, combining a strategic lens with a hands-on approach and a strong record of delivering complex and innovative People and Culture programs.

You’ll have experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships to meet stakeholders’ expectations and are comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical.
