Welcome to Noviwest.
Noviwest is one of the two standalone entities created from dsm-firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.
Noviwest brings together a strong vitamin heritage with deep expertise in vitamins, carotenoids and aroma ingredients — creating the foundation for a focused, agile stand-alone company. Here, you can help shape a business that stays close to its markets, builds trusted customer relationships and delivers reliable, high-quality and sustainable solutions through a fit-for-purpose production and supply organization.
If you are looking for a role where your contribution can have real visibility and impact as the company evolves, Noviwest offers the opportunity to be part of that journey from the inside.
Join a business where procurement is a strategic driver of value creation, innovation, and sustainable growth. As Senior Manager Procurement Transformation – Indirect Goods & Services, you’ll help shape sourcing strategies and critical capital investment decisions across our operations. You’ll work with global stakeholders, influence high-impact business decisions, and create long-term value through supplier partnerships, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities
- Own the procurement strategy, planning and execution for CAPEX projects, from feasibility through mechanical completion, ensuring commercial integrity and delivery against project goals
- Develop, in close alignment with category management, project-specific sourcing strategies and procurement plans for technical equipment, engineering and construction services, aligned with investment priorities, budgets and schedules
- Lead supplier qualification, tendering, fact-based negotiations and contract awards, securing competitive total cost of ownership, clear deliverables, payment terms and performance commitments
- Manage supplier and contract performance throughout project execution, mitigate procurement risks and safeguard critical deliveries, quality and compliance
- Partner with project management, engineering, manufacturing, finance and procurement; participate in multidisciplinary project reviews and guide procurement activities performed by engineering and construction management (EPCm) contractors
- Drive value engineering, sustainable sourcing and cost-effective innovation, embedding procurement best practices and lessons learned across CAPEX projects
We offer
- The opportunity to influence major business decisions and high-value investment projects
- A highly visible role with meaningful impact on procurement performance and business outcomes
- Exposure to international stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams across the globe
- Growth opportunities that support your professional development and long-term career ambitions
- A collaborative environment where ideas, expertise, and diverse perspectives are valued
- The chance to contribute to a more sustainable, efficient, and innovative future
You bring
- At least 5 years of procurement experience in more complex CAPEX projects, within manufacturing, preferably in the chemical industry
- Strong knowledge of technical equipment, engineering and construction services, global and regional supplier markets, and CAPEX project execution models, including collaboration with EPCm contractors
- Hands-on project and contract management capabilities, with a track record in tendering, commercial negotiations, contract awards and supplier performance management
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to manage change and align competing priorities in multidisciplinary project teams
- Commercial acumen to balance capital cost, total cost of ownership, cash flow, schedule, quality, sustainability and procurement risk
- Analytical thinking to evaluate bids, challenge cost drivers and identify value engineering opportunities, translating data into sound project procurement decisions
- A collaborative, results-oriented approach to managing international suppliers and working with engineering, project management and site teams to deliver complex capital investments
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory; French language skills are an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Procurement, or other related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage.
