  • Permanent, full time

  • Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 depending one experience (Band 3)

  • Cornwall based – relocation allowance available of 10% the offered salary

Our first shop opened in 1981 in Penzance, selling durable clothing to artists and mariners. Today, we’re a modern, data-enabled omnichannel retailer with a growing international presence. We blend heritage with innovation, designing timeliness clothing made from responsibility sourced fabrics, and using technology to improve how we operate, grow and serve customers.

As we scale in the UK and internationally (primarily through third-party partnerships), we’re investing in data, systems and digital capability to support our people and our growth. It’s an exciting time to join us!

The Senior Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of technology services, ensuring services are delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with agreed standards and performance targets. This role owns service execution and performance, operational coordination, incident response and supplier delivery across technology operations. Working closely with the Technology Services Manager, this role is accountable for executing agreed processes and delivering defined service outcomes.

Please note, as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week but the nature of some roles may require more working time in our head offices) and remotely within the UK.

You’ll help us by:

  • Leading and managing the delivery of day-to-day technology operations across infrastructure, systems, cloud services and platforms, including line management of the Systems Manager, ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs and operational targets.

  • Acting as the primary operational escalation point for major incidents, service disruptions and critical/high-impact service issues.

  • Owning and overseeing operational adherence to service management practices, including incident management, problem management, change enablement, service request fulfilment, asset lifecycle management and financial management.

  • Managing the operational technology budget, ensuring services are delivered effectively within agreed financial constraints, and maintaining technology support and on-call rotas.

  • Owning and leading the Service Desk function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality end-user support services that meet agreed SLAs, KPIs and customer experience targets, driving continuous improvement through regular performance reviews and metrics analysis.

  • Ensuring strong alignment between the Service Desk and wider technology operations, enabling effective escalation, collaboration and issue resolution.

  • Managing day-to-day relationships with third-party technology providers, ensuring supplier services meet agreed standards and SLAs, and coordinating escalations, performance reviews and governance processes.

  • Maintaining operational documentation, including: low level design records, build and implementation documents, asset records, software licence usage, runbooks, support procedures and knowledge base articles.

  • Supporting audit, compliance and governance activities, executing disaster recovery, business continuity processes and resilience testing processes, ensuring teams are prepared for failure scenarios and service restoration activities.

The skills you’ll be sharing with the team:

  • Relevant experience in technology operations, service management, or infrastructure environments.

  • Experience managing day-to-day technology operations in a multi-system environment.

  • Experience leading or coordinating Service Desk operations.

  • Strong experience in incident and problem management.

  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and support partners.

  • Experience coordinating across multiple technology domains (infrastructure, cloud, systems).

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).

  • Strong operational leadership and coordination skills.

  • Excellent incident management and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret service performance data.

  • Strong organisational and documentation skills.

  • Retail experience would be desirable.
