At Fortell, we’re building a better hearing aid–one that helps people hear clearly, even in the noisiest places. As our Marketing Designer, you will own the visual identity and brand expression that attracts patients, earns their trust, and turns them into lifelong advocates. This role is one of the most influential at the company: your work will shape every surface a patient sees and touches across the entire journey from first brand impression through daily product use. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will help set the brand design strategy, establish and evolve our visual language, and execute world-class creative across all consumer touchpoints. This is a highly strategic player-coach role–you are both the guardian of Fortell’s brand and a hands-on craft leader producing beautiful, conversion-driving design. Your mission: Create a brand that is emotionally magnetic, clinically credible, and so delightful to interact with that people are proud to show and share it. What You’ll Own You are accountable for the look and feel of the Fortell experience across: Brand Design System Continue to refine brand identity, color, typography, iconography, imagery Systems that scale across channels and teams Marketing & Growth Website design + ongoing optimization Email and lifecycle campaigns Organic social + paid advertising materials Print collateral and direct mail Out-of-home and clinic acquisition campaigns In-Clinic Experience Environmental branding and signage Point-of-care materials and printed guides What Success Looks Like A distinctive brand that commands attention and establishes credibility Marketing design that drives funnel performance → higher awareness, stronger conversion, increased referrals Consistent, premium expression across all markets and channels A brand people proudly recommend and evangelize Responsibilities Evolve Fortell’s visual brand strategy and expressions Translate positioning, insights, and performance data into compelling design Drive concepting, creative direction, and execution for marketing campaigns Oversee and manage external creative partners, agencies, and freelancers, as needed Review and quality-control all consumer-facing creative before launch Advocate for design excellence rooted in accessibility and empathy Who You Are A multi-disciplinary brand designer with taste, rigor, and curiosity Experience leading brand identity, digital, and physical design for a consumer product or premium brand Obsessively detail-oriented and able to move quickly without sacrificing craft Skilled at simplifying complexity into clear, beautiful visual narratives Collaborative and low-ego with a knack for building trust across cross-functional teams Motivated by mission: helping people experience life more fully through better hearing Why This Role Matters We get one shot at a first impression.
