Project Overview

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Consultant to lead the design, implementation, migration, optimisation, and governance of Microsoft enterprise platforms. This role involves supporting client transformation programmes including tenant consolidations, divestitures, modern workplace, security, compliance, and cloud adoption initiatives. You will engage with business and technical stakeholders, lead workshops, create technical designs, and execute complex implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, assessment, and architecture workshops across Microsoft technologies.
• Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions based on business and technical needs.
• Deliver tenant migrations, consolidations, and separations related to divestitures.
• Configure and optimise Microsoft 365 identity, collaboration, security, and compliance features.
• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs, implementation plans, and documentation.
• Lead technical streams and provide subject matter expertise throughout delivery.
• Perform platform health checks and create remediation plans.
• Support migrations related to identity, mail, collaboration, endpoints, and data.
• Advise on Microsoft licensing, governance, security, and best practices.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate service transition and operational handover.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 projects in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in M&A, divestitures, tenant migrations, or transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in consulting and hands-on technical delivery.
• Experience producing detailed architecture and design documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise contexts.

Highly Desirable

• Azure infrastructure knowledge.
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Nerdio experience.
• Microsoft Purview expertise.
