Senior .NET Developer (with AZURE)

Job Description We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join a high-scale smart-shopping and cashback platform serving millions of users. The role focuses on building and optimising backend services supporting cashback, loyalty, affiliate, and e-commerce functionalities within a modern Azure-based microservices environment. This is a hands-on backend engineering role requiring strong experience with .NET, Azure Cloud, REST APIs, and scalable distributed systems operating in a high-traffic production environment. Responsibilities: ​ Develop and maintain backend services using .NET 8 and C# Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices for high-traffic use cases Integrate systems with third-party APIs and data providers Work with Azure cloud services (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, etc.) Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability Work with Azure DevOps, Docker, and Git for CI/CD and version control Collaborate with DevOps to optimise deployment pipelines and infrastructure Participate in code reviews, architecture decisions, and sprint planning Maintain documentation of backend architecture and API specifications ​ Requirements Minimum 4–5 years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET (latest version .NET 8 preferred) Proven experience designing scalable and secure REST APIs Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud and microservices architecture Experience with SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper Familiarity with Azure DevOps , Docker containers, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of application security, error handling, and performance optimisation Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate with business and technical stakeholders Nice to Have: Experience with e-commerce , affiliate marketing , or cashback platforms Exposure to NoSQL solutions like Cosmos DB or MongoDB Experience with Event-Driven Architecture , e.g. Azure Event Grid or Kafka Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular) for collaboration purposes Benefits Solid, competitive salary Work in a multinational environment on international projects Comprehensive healthcare Long-term B2B contract with a stable project pipeline Work model: fully remote (1-2 times/month in Warsaw) Work on a large-scale, high-impact product with strong market presence Be part of a modern .NET development environment in a cloud-first organisation Collaborate in a stable, secure fintech setting with the speed of a startup Enjoy flexible working and ownership of your development responsibilities
