Senior Network Engineer (Fintech/Payment)

Salary: around USD 2800 or Nego

Location: District 3, Ho Chi Minh City (1 day WFH)

We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer (L3) to take ownership of Data Centre operations, enterprise networking, AWS hybrid connectivity, and perimeter security. You’ll work closely with the Head of Infrastructure & Security to ensure high availability and zero-downtime for critical network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AWS networking & hybrid connectivity: VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, VPC Peering, Security Groups/NACLs.
• Own physical Data Centre network infrastructure, WAN/ISP links, cross-connects and hardware.
• Manage enterprise routing & switching: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, VXLAN, Spanning Tree.
• Configure and maintain FortiGate/Sophos firewalls, VPN, NAT and NAC.
• Monitor and troubleshoot using AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, Cloudflare, Wireshark and NMS tools.
• Lead DC-DR failover drills and support SBV & PCI DSS compliance requirements.
• Handle L3 escalation for complex network and connectivity incidents.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Networking and hybrid infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of FortiGate/FortiOS, Sophos, IPsec VPN, NAT & NAC.
• Strong networking fundamentals: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, VXLAN, Subnetting, STP.
• Experience with physical Data Centre infrastructure, ISP links and cross-connects.
• Professional English communication skills.
