Senior Odoo Engineer

The Role

• We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Odoo Developer to building a scalable enterprise ERP system on
• Odoo 18 LTS. You'll be our first core developer — leading both backend (Python/Odoo) and frontend
• (OWL/interactive UI) work across the entire MVP.

What You'll Build

• Core data models and business logic (extend Odoo's core architecture)
• Five critical custom modules: document storage, digital signatures, approvals, resource
• scheduling, dashboards
• A specialized interactive visualization component (SVG/canvas-based, real-time, linked to
• backend)
• Audit trails, role-based access control, compliance-ready schema
• Self-hosted production environment structure

The Challenge

• This isn't standard Odoo config work. Five capabilities that are normally pre-built must be engineered
• custom. The interactive component is the hardest piece — it's where architecture and UX meet. You'll
• own the technical decisions.

What We Need

Someone who can lead and own their work end-to-end:

• Takes full ownership: autonomous control over technical decisions and execution — we don't micromanage
• System design & software architecture: design scalable data models, plan integrations, make architectural trade-offs
• Strong technical writer: write RFCs, ADRs, architecture docs; lead design discussions with the team; explain the "why" not just the "what"
• 5+ years Odoo development (v13+)
• Python: data models, business logic, API design
• Frontend: OWL, JavaScript, XML/QWeb, CSS
• PostgreSQL, Git, ability to read source code
• Nice to have: SVG/canvas experience, regulated industry background, OCA module contribution
