About You
You are a proactive, highly organized manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and approaches priorities with urgency and sound judgment. You communicate clearly, respond promptly and confidently manage competing demands. Success in this role requires a strong, credible leadership presence; the ability to set clear expectations, provide decisive direction, develop others and ensure consistent follow-through; and the confidence to speak up, address issues and drive action when circumstances demand it. This is a hands-on role: you are equally comfortable leading the team as you are stepping directly into day-to-day fieldwork, troubleshooting and executing operations tasks when needed. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented and committed to supporting efficient research operations and data integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead field services operations across active studies, including study activation, ongoing fieldwork and interviewer coverage, ensuring timely execution and proactive resolution of field challenges
  • Manage assigned research operations teams and coordinate external resources, setting clear expectations and priorities, monitoring quality and performance, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring accountability and consistent follow-through
  • Recruit and onboard field resources based on capacity needs, providing ongoing guidance and support
  • Maintain accurate field databases, ensuring compliance with applicable privacy requirements
  • Identify and implement improvements to field processes, workflows, tools and overall efficiency
  • Conduct interviews as needed to maintain field coverage during capacity constraints

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree; experience in market research/data analysis and/or finance a plus
  • 3+ years of people-management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and data quality
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workflows or operational priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues proactively, troubleshoot problems and drive them to resolution with a sense of urgency and sound judgment
  • Experience coordinating or leading teams in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional interviewing experience, particularly within market research, financial services or investor research, a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficiency with MS Word & Excel (intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred)
  • Alignment with Rivel’s core values

The base range of compensation for this role is $85,000 - $95,000. Compensation for this position is adjusted based on skill, effort, responsibility, education, training, credentials, geographic location, working conditions and/or experience.
