Description:
The Senior Payroll Coordinator supports payroll operations by handling advanced payroll data entry, reviewing timekeeping and payroll information, and assisting employees with payroll-related questions. Performs payroll support activities with accuracy, knowledge, and some independence while maintaining complete and accurate payroll records and supporting timely payroll processing.
Essential Functions:
- Gather payroll reports and review payroll data inputs for accuracy prior to payroll processing, including new hire prorated adjustments, rehires, schedules, shift pay, salary continuance for leaves, and one-time payments such as sign-on bonuses.
- Assist in identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies prior to processing.
- Perform review of payroll email inbox communications and respond to employee payroll inquiries regarding pay, PTO, deductions, timekeeping, and payroll records.
- Support HR and HR Business Partners with payroll-related data and records while escalating more complex issues to the payroll team and Manager as appropriate.
- Import payroll data via Data Bridge (HR Connect data) and review employee changes such as new hires, employee updates, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies and follow up with HR as needed.
- Review and import employee timecards and PTO data from the timekeeping system (UKG) into ADP.
- Review missed punches, schedules, pay codes, and timekeeping exceptions and follow up with HR and supervisors to ensure timely corrections.
- Support weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing activities with the payroll team and maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information.
- Assist with payroll corrections and adjustments following established payroll procedures.
- Assist with payroll record keeping, documentation, and maintaining organized payroll files in accordance with company procedures.
Education:
- High School or GED - Required
- Associate degree Finance, Business or related field - Preferred
- Additional payroll coursework - Preferred
Experience:
- 4 years or more in 3–5 years of payroll, HR, accounting, or administrative experience
- 2 years or more in Payroll or payroll processing experience
- 1 year or more in Experience working with payroll and timekeeping systems
The base salary for this position ranges from $28.85 to $33.65 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
