Senior Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee Argentina payroll processing with strict adherence to labor, social security, and tax regulations. You will deliver monthly payroll, manage final settlements and Income Tax (4th category), and reconcile results using advanced Excel alongside payroll tools like Tango or Visma. Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly payroll cycles for employees based in Argentina
• Implement final settlement calculations and manage termination workflows per current legislation
• Monitor and control fourth-category Income Tax calculations to ensure correctness
• Maintain reporting and follow-up of social security contributions via the Digital Payroll Book
• Update payroll for vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and absences as required
• Reconcile payroll outputs and run verification checks to validate calculations
• Respond to employee payroll requests and provide clear payroll support
• Enforce compliance with applicable labor, social security, and tax regulations consistently

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience managing payroll processes in Argentina
• Strong foundation and practical expertise in monthly payroll and final payroll computations
• Demonstrated experience handling Income Tax (4th category) calculations
• Knowledge of social security contributions with hands-on experience using the Digital Payroll Book
• Experience with vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination workflows
• Experience working with payroll systems such as Tango, Visma, or similar tools
• Advanced Excel capability to perform payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
• Strong spoken and written English at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
