Together, Havas agencies can provide greater value and services to clients while delivering meaningful, societal impact. The specialist function team, where this role sits, is critical to the growth and performance of Gate One. The teams in Marketing, Finance & Commercial and People & Talent work in close partnership with the leadership team and Havas to facilitate growth, maintain quality and control, drive performance and support high quality decision making. Not only do the functions deliver business as usual activities, they also design and implement change projects, focusing on optimization, preparing the business for scale. Gate One India is currently a team of 13 people and growing. By 2028, the growth strategy is to have a team size of 30 people. This role is a hybrid role across key Talent Acquisition and People and Talent responsibilities. The role will work closely with the global people and talent team, with the Client Director in India, the Gate One India team and the India Havas team. Talent Acquisition Responsibilities · Capture from the India Client Director and other relevant SLT leaders globally, the external hiring (and any Associate/Contractor requirements) · Be the first point of contact for recruitment candidates and recruitment agencies · Support permanent recruitment processes, including co-drafting of job descriptions, coordinating with recruitment partners, early candidate screening and interview coordination · Manage candidate progress through the recruitment process via the online Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure interview notes are properly recorded and saved onto the system · Using the ATS, report weekly on recruitment activity and progress and escalate any risks or problems · Encourage internal recruitment referrals from the Gate One global and Havas teams · Escalate barriers within the offer approvals process to the Client Director and work in collaboration to resolve these People and Talent Responsibilities · Act as Gate One India’s ‘onboarding ambassador’ – liaising with new joiners before they start to ensure a smooth experience and welcoming new joiners on their first day in the office (being on-hand for their first week) · As part of new joiner onboarding and ongoing support to the team, ensure consultants have the “brilliant basics”: working spaces, onboarding packs, tech access (working with Havas) · Liaise and share feedback/ideas with the UK P&T team and Havas HR team to support and continuously improve the Gate One India onboarding experience · Act as the first point of contact for HR queries for the Gate One India team (e.g. around policies, using the global Gate One P&T team for escalations or the Havas India team). · Partner with Havas India HR teams to stay aligned on India Havas recruitment and HR policies and communications · Support the India EVP, working alongside the global P&T team to drive consistency with local relevance · Support the Gate One India team regarding the launch and embedding of global HR initiatives · Support the India Client Director and wider team on annual processes such as annual roundtables, quarterly reviews and continuous feedback culture · Manage core people reporting, including quarterly holiday tracking, India employee engagement survey results etc · Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR, recruitment and resourcing processes · Support with Learning & Development opportunities, liaising with the global P&T team to understand opportunities, supporting with scheduling and booking rooms for India colleagues · Coordinate team logistics as required, e.g., offsites, training, client workshops, Gateaways. Person Specification Experience · Experience within a professional services environment, ideally another management consultancy · Experience across a breadth of recruitment responsibilities, able to work autonomously · At least 2-3 years operational recruitment/HR experience within a fast-paced and growing organization · An advantage to have TeamTailor Applicant Tracking System experience (or similar, but not essential) · An advantage to have WorkDay HR system experience (but not essential) Skills · Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment · Exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters · Excellent written and oral communication skills (and fluency with Microsoft packages) · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Behaviors · Strong work ethic that mirrors organization’s culture and values · Confident, self-motivated, and reliable · Ability to work in an environment of change and growth · Alignment with the Gate One values of Entrepreneurship, Grit, Humility, Candor, Empathy, and Aspiration · Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills · Ability to work collaboratively and be a team player Location: This role will be based in the Havas office in Bangalore and have the flexibility to work maximum 2 days per week from home.
