Join our team as a Senior Performance & Resilience Testing Consultant (Hybrid – Portugal)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and execute performance and resilience testing scenarios for mobile and web applications
• Perform traffic manipulation and network variability testing using Charles Proxy, mitmproxy, or equivalent tools
• Configure proxy rules, breakpoints, Map Local/Map Remote, SSL Proxying, network throttling, and traffic manipulation
• Test mobile applications on iOS and Android, analyzing API traffic between applications and backend services
• Validate client-side resilience under network interruptions, API errors, timeouts, and server failures
• Evaluate retry mechanisms and error-handling behavior under failure conditions
• Analyze application logs, response times, and waterfall views to assess performance and measure manual screen load time
• Produce structured test evidence, including test case matrices, Pass/Fail results, and Go/No-Go recommendations
• Document test execution, findings, and conclusions with accuracy and rigor
• Collaborate with Development teams to discuss findings, identify issues, and support resolution activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Strong expertise in Charles Proxy, mitmproxy, or equivalent traffic inspection tools
• Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
• Experience analyzing API traffic between mobile applications and backend services
• Knowledge of client-side resilience testing, including network drops, API errors, timeouts, and server failures
• Experience validating retry mechanisms and error-handling strategies
• Ability to analyze logs, response times, and waterfall views to assess application performance and usability
• Experience producing structured test documentation, including Pass/Fail assessments and Go/No-Go conclusions
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to partially defined environments
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage in technical discussions with Development teams
