Job Context: Riseup Labs Seeking an experienced Senior PixiJS Game Developer to create high-performance casino slot games using PixiJS, JavaScript, and HTML5. Job Responsibilities: Game Development: Design and develop visually engaging casino slot games with cross-platform functionality using PixiJS. Casino Slot Game Mechanics: Implement slot game mechanics including reels, paylines, RNG, jackpots, and bonus rounds. Optimization & Performance: Optimize games for performance across devices and browsers to ensure smooth gameplay. Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with teams and mentor junior developers, maintaining high coding standards. Game Engine Integration: Integrate games with backend systems for player data management, payments, and game state saving. Prototyping & Game Design: Rapidly prototype new game ideas and work with the design team to create innovative and user-friendly slot games. Educational Requirements: B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university. Additional Requirements: Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, PixiJS, and game development principles, with knowledge of WebGL and Canvas. Casino Slot Game Expertise: Deep understanding of slot game mechanics, RNG algorithms, and gaming laws for online casinos. Software & Tools: Experience with version control, project management tools, and Agile development processes. Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership in mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Ability to resolve technical challenges and introduce innovative features to enhance gameplay.
