The Role

We're growing our safety team and looking for a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join us at our Naas office. Reporting to the Technical Safety Manager, you'll take ownership of our process safety service, with the freedom to build it your way and set the standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate HAZOP studies, from node selection and guideword deviations through to cause, consequence, and safeguard analysis
• Carry out LOPA to assess scenario risk, applying independent protection layers (IPLs) and initiating event frequencies to determine the required SIL for safety instrumented functions (SIFs)
• Own and manage this area of the business, building the service and setting the standard for process safety

Requirements

• Degree in chemical, process, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
• Chartered status (CEng) through Engineers Ireland, IChemE, or equivalent is ideal
