Senior Procurement Manager

Atom Resources are partnering with a major contractor delivering a nationally significant infrastructure project and are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Manager.

You'll be responsible for overseeing the procurement function, supporting project delivery teams and ensuring procurement strategies, systems and processes are aligned to project requirements.

The Role

• Lead and manage the procurement function across the project.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for major construction and infrastructure packages.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor engagement throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Drive procurement governance, reporting and compliance activities.
• Work closely with commercial, engineering and project delivery teams.
• Provide leadership and guidance to procurement personnel and project stakeholders.
• Ensure effective utilisation of SAP and procurement systems.

About You

• Proven experience in a Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Manager capacity.
• Strong construction and infrastructure project background.
• Thorough understanding of the construction project lifecycle.
• Experience leading procurement functions on large-scale infrastructure, utilities, energy or EPC projects.
• Strong SAP capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
