Senior Product Engineer – Full Stack (TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js)

Our client is a digital law firm based in Stockholm, Sweden, on a mission to make legal services genuinely easy to access for everyday people. Think legal help that works the way modern products do.

They build legal products for consumers and plug legal services straight into companies and organizations across finance, insurance and non-profit fundraising - a small team where tech, law and business meet every single day.

Position:

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will work end to end across the stack, closely with the client's engineers and business team, owning problems from identifying what is worth building through to production.

Your Responsibilities:

Take end-to-end ownership of problems, from understanding the business need and identifying what is worth building to designing, implementing and maintaining solutions in production

• Build and evolve customer-facing legal products used by consumers

• Integrate legal services into partner platforms

• Develop and improve internal tools and workflows used by internal teams and partners

• Work across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure as the problem requires

• Build and maintain systems that handle sensitive legal information securely

• Contribute to technical and product decisions and share responsibility for quality through code reviews and collaborative solution design

Your Profile:

• 4+ years of proven industry experience in software engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, NestJS and Next.js

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and keen to explore tools and workflows that help build better software faster

• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL) and caching with Redis

• Experience working with Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS

• Solid software engineering fundamentals, with a strong focus on architecture, code quality and building maintainable systems

• Comfortable working across the full stack, even if your core strength is frontend or backend

• A strong sense of ownership, with the ability to figure things out independently and ask the right questions

Nice to have:

• Experience in Terraform (infrastructure as code)

• Experience integrating products or services into third-party partner platforms

• Experience in, or interest in, legal tech, fintech or insurtech domains
