About The Role

Are you a Product Manager who enjoys going beyond the roadmap and working closely with Engineering to understand how products actually work?

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for how customers manage and use our digital identity, fraud prevention, and verification products through our customer portals.

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer teams, turning customer and business needs into clear technical requirements and helping teams deliver scalable, reliable products. Your focus is the experience of a signed-in customer: configuring products, managing the account, paying invoices, and understanding usage and results.

What You'll Do

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Telesign's customer portals, and communicate them to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize the roadmap using customer feedback, usage data, and business impact, and defend those priorities with numbers.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog in Jira, and act as the Product Owner within Agile teams through sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and releases.
  • Translate product and customer needs into user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Engineering on APIs, system dependencies, data flows, integrations, and technical trade-offs.
  • Balance customer impact, business priorities, technical feasibility, scalability, and reliability.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to ensure teams have the clarity they need to deliver.
  • Own the customer portal experience across MyTelesign and our other customer portals, including product configuration, account management, usage reporting, and insights.
  • Own credit card payments in the portal, and partner with the Billing development team, which owns the billing system, on how invoices, balances, and usage are presented to customers.
  • Lead the consolidation of legacy portals into a single, consistent customer experience, and retire what is replaced.
  • Bring new products and channels into the portals as self-service experiences, working with the product teams that own them.
  • Work with UX designers from discovery through release, and adopt the shared design system and component library.
  • Manage releases, customer communications, and internal enablement for portal changes, working with Customer Success, Support, and Marketing.
  • Use portal analytics, support tickets, and customer feedback to decide what to build, and track adoption and self-service rates after release.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, including ownership of a roadmap for a B2B SaaS, API, or platform product.
  • Strong experience with backlog management and Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Technical understanding of APIs, software development processes, data flows, and system dependencies.
  • Ability to write clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the habit of pulling your own data.
  • Fluent English, and confidence presenting to senior leadership and working with global teams.
  • Experience owning a customer-facing web application or portal, ideally for a B2B SaaS or API product.
  • Experience working with UX designers, and using analytics and customer feedback to shape requirements.
  • A track record of shipped outcomes that you can describe by the customer problem and the measured result.
  • Confidence pushing back on requests with clear reasoning, and the habit of writing decisions down.

Nice to have

Experience with self-service billing and payments, product analytics tools, design systems, or legacy portal migrations, or with REST APIs, SaaS, CPaaS, telecommunications, identity, authentication, fraud prevention, or risk-based products is a plus.

This is not a software engineering role. You don't need to be a developer, but you should feel comfortable discussing technical solutions, understanding system behavior, and working side-by-side with engineers.
