At Phonak, we develop advanced hearing solutions designed to improve how people experience and connect with the world. As our Senior Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of an assigned product scope and play a leading role in transforming customer, market, and technology insights into commercially successful solutions.

You will lead the product workstream from initial definition through launch, go-to-market execution, performance management, and lifecycle optimization. Acting as a senior product authority, you will develop strong recommendations, align diverse stakeholders, influence key decisions, and coordinate Product Managers contributing to the same category or launch.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Product Manager who combines commercial judgment, customer focus, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive execution across a complex global organization.

More about the role:

  • Own the complete product marketing mix and product strategy across concept development, launch preparation, in-market management, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Lead product vision, use-case refinement, feature prioritization, product story, and value proposition development with R&D, UX, Portfolio, and commercial teams.
  • Build robust business cases and margin logic for new launches, upgrades, and lifecycle actions using market, cost, customer, and competitive insights.
  • Develop pricing logic, price-pack architecture, and value-based pricing recommendations with Pricing and other commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead product contributions to global launches and coordinate Product Managers responsible for products, accessories, or dependent launch elements.
  • Drive go-to-market readiness across regions and channels, including availability planning, documentation, training inputs, messaging, and operational dependencies.
  • Brief and partner with Brand, MarCom, and regional teams on product claims, launch messaging, sales tools, training, and commercial activation.
  • Track adoption, quality, customer feedback, margin, competitive performance, and other product KPIs, initiating corrective and lifecycle actions where required.

More about you:

Must haves:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, product marketing, strategic marketing or launch management, ideally in a global environment.
  • University degree in business, engineering, audiology, marketing or a related field.
  • Strong experience managing technically complex products across development, launch, go-to-market and lifecycle activities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with business cases, value propositions, pricing and/or margin considerations.
  • Proven ability to develop recommendations, influence decisions and align senior cross-functional stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.
  • Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills, combined with strong strategic and execution capabilities.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in hearing care, medical devices, healthcare or another regulated industry.
  • Technical background or strong experience partnering with R&D/engineering teams.
  • Experience coordinating or coaching other Product Managers or leading without formal authority.
  • Experience with market trials, customer-centric development and/or Agile/SAFe methodologies
