Join a world-class marketing organization creating the best possible engagement experience for millions of members.

Humana is a $100+ billion, Fortune 50, healthcare leader dedicated to improving the health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable populations in the United States—seniors, people with disabilities, and lower-income Americans. Humana is uniquely positioned to transform healthcare delivery by making high-quality care more affordable, accessible, and secure through integrated healthcare services, innovative technology, and data-driven solutions.

To help deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the delivery of new reporting requirements for Next Best Action (NBA) and to assist with measurement tracking across the program. This is a hands-on execution role that turns the measurement strategy into shipped, trusted reporting by partnering closely with development, data science, and analytics teams.

Reporting to and in partnership with the Lead Product Manager, NBA Measurement & Reporting, you will translate measurement and reporting needs into well-defined requirements, manage the backlog with the development teams, and help track NBA measurement across business outcomes, model performance, and operational metrics. You will focus on delivery execution—ensuring requirements are clear, dependencies are managed, and reporting is validated—while building proficiency in developing and executing product strategy.

Role Responsibilities

Requirements & Delivery Execution

  • Translate measurement and reporting needs into well-defined requirements, writing clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development teams.
  • Drive delivery of new reporting requirements with the development teams, serving as the day-to-day product point of contact throughout the build cycle.
  • Manage and prioritize the reporting backlog, ensuring the most valuable items are ready for development and sequenced by business impact and dependency.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies— sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, demos, and retrospectives—clarifying requirements and unblocking issues as they arise.
  • Manage dependencies and risks, tracking progress, adjusting plans as needed, and escalating when timelines or scope are at risk.

Measurement Tracking & Reporting Support

  • Assist with measurement tracking across NBA, helping monitor business KPIs / NBA effectiveness, model performance, and operational metrics.
  • Support the KPI and metric framework by ensuring metrics are captured accurately and consistently and are clearly defined for each audience.
  • Validate reporting and dashboards against acceptance criteria before release, confirming data is accurate, consistent, and decision-ready.
  • Generate and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track progress and surface actionable insights for the LPM and stakeholders.
  • Help maintain documentation of metric definitions, reporting logic, and processes to support knowledge transfer and consistent measurement.

Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with development, data science, and analytics teams to align on requirements, evaluation approaches, and how outputs roll up into reporting.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and upstream teams, accurately representing their needs in backlog items and delivery plans.
  • Provide regular progress updates, demoing features, gathering feedback, and managing expectations to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Build and maintain relationships across Marketing, Digital, call center (CCC), and IT partners to support smooth delivery of reporting capabilities.

Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Use a data-informed approach to identify what is and isn’t working in reporting and recommend improvements.
  • Critically evaluate information to identify flawed or misleading data and maintain objectivity when interpreting results.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement and contribute to idea canvases and business cases to expand measurement and reporting capabilities.
  • Apply increasing product expertise to solve problems, interpreting guidance on only the most complex tasks as proficiency grows.

Critical Success Factors

  • Execution-oriented: Gets things done and keeps delivery moving; balances “perfect” against “good enough to launch and learn.”
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous: Ensures requirements are clear and metrics are accurate, consistent, and well-defined.
  • Business-value focus: Connects reporting work back to the decisions and outcomes it enables.
  • Strong communicator: Communicates proactively so stakeholders and dev teams are never surprised by delays or changes.
  • Adaptable: Handles ambiguity, changing priorities, and setbacks with a continuous-learning mindset.
