Senior Program Manager – Railway Planning Systems

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation sector, is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead a critical software delivery program. This role involves managing complex "buy and integrate" projects and strategic roadmaps within a large-scale railway infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end delivery of high-impact software programs within the transport domain.
• Orchestrate complex RFP processes and manage "buy and integrate" vendor relationships.
• Facilitate strategic roadmap development and alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead and mentor agile and scrum delivery teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Partner with C-level executives to provide program transparency and strategic insights.
• Standardize program execution using frameworks like PM², PMBOK, or SAFe.
  
  

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software delivery project management and 6+ years in program management.
• 5+ years of experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery teams.
• 2+ years of experience in the Railway Industry with a proven record in planning systems.
• You possess end-to-end experience in "buy and integrate" models and have executed multiple RFP cycles.
• You have a proven track record in strategic roadmap creation and C-level stakeholder management.
• You're proficient with project management frameworks such as PM², PMBOK, or SAFe.
• You possess professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
