Who are we looking for?

GHD is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Transportation in our Dallas, TX office providing guidance and assistance with projects,withfocusonspecificprojectcomponents,asnecessary.Giventherole'snature,dutiesandprioritiesvary but will involve identifying, quoting, planning, designing, and directing transportation projects.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Serveastheprojectmanager onspecificprojects.

• Providementorshipto fellowstaff members.

• Evaluateactualprojectperformance,riskidentification/mitigation,andrecoveryplansonaprogramleveland provide mitigation strategies.

• Collectdataanddraftproject-relatedreports.

• Managerecurringdeliverablesforprojects.

• Performqualityassurance/qualitycontrolfunctionsonprojectsasneeded.

• Performriskmanagementfunctionsonspecificprojects.

• Performpre-constructionservicesonspecificprojects(e.g.,TXRail).

• Assistwithbusinessdevelopment;establishandmaintainclientrelationships.

• Coordinatestaffingandresourceavailabilitythroughoutthelifecycleofprojects.

• Reviewandapproveinvoices.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinEngineering,ConstructionManagement,Businessorrelatedfieldofstudyrequired.

• ProfessionalEngineer(PE)licenseinTexasisrequired.

• CertifiedConstructionManager(CCM)and/orDesign-GuildProfessional(DBIA)certificationdesired.

• 15+years’experienceincivilengineeringorwithciviltransportationprojects.

• ExperiencewithMicrosoftOfficeSuite(particularlyExcelandPowerPoint),Bluebeam,estimatingsoftware, and Primavera or project management software required.

• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills,particularlytechnicalwriting.

• Stronganalytical,decision-making,andproblem-solvingskills.

• Keenattentiontodetail.

• Abilitytounderstandnewissuesquicklyandmakesounddecisions.

• Abilitytoplanprojectworkloadseffectively,remainorganized,anddelegate.

• Adeptatmanagingmultiplecompetingpriorities.

• AdvancedproficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeSuite(specificallyExcel).
