Salary Range: $174,144.30 To $218,408.40 Annually
Job title: Senior Project Manager, Civil Engineering – PD&E
EAC Consulting, Inc. is looking for a licensed Engineer (PE) to serve as Senior Project Manager within our Project Development and Environment team at any of our locations in South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or West Palm Beach)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Project Management
- Implements the company’s Project Management policies and procedures.
- Identifies and secures the resources for each phase of a project, .
- Develops scope of services and negotiates fees required for success.
- Plans tasks required and leads a team to implement on-time/within budget.
- Manages scope, identifying additional services and working with client to get additional fees.
- Achieves high client grades by meeting/exceeding expectations.
Financial
- Cost control to implement the approved design/scope and maintain a positive variance.
- Timely and accurate Invoicing. Assist with collections when past due.
- Works with Project Accountant to invoice clients accurately and on-time. Assists with collections when past due.
Engineering
- Serves as Engineer of Record where needed.
- Develops sound engineering solutions that safely satisfies the scope and needs of the client.
- Implements the Quality Control Plan to deliver quality deliverables.
Business Development (BD)
- Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients and able to secure opportunities with new clients.
- Leads or contributes to BD pursuits. Develops Go/NoGo and Win Plans with winning concepts and strategies. Contributes technical write-ups. Develops presentations and participates in interviews.
- Participates in industry organizations and contributes to social media and internal intranet posts to further EAC’s brand.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Typically fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience.
- Experience as PM for small- to large-sized projects with multiple disciplines and medium complexity (multi-disciplined services requiring coordination).
- Extensive Knowledge and understanding of the Project Development process and the application of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
- Extensive Knowledge of the Environmental and Public Involvement activities required for PD&E Studies.
- Extensive knowledge of AASHTO, State (FDOT) and Municipal (Green Book) design criteria, standards and plans preparation requirements.
- Knowledge in Traffic Analysis, Horizontal and Vertical Alignment, Drainage, Maintenance of Traffic, Signing and Pavement Markings and design or coordination of other disciplines such as - Signalization, Lighting, Utilities, Structures, Intelligent Transportation Systems and Tolling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proven presentation skills are required.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to plan tasks and implement action items.
- Able to deliver assignments on time and demonstrate a “get things done” attitude.
