Senior Project Manager (Cloud Infrastructure)

Role description:

Join NTT DATA Business Solutions as a Senior Project Manager (Cloud Infrastructure) to support an exciting RISE enablement project on the SCI platform, focused on enabling its integration as an additional hyperscaler platform. This role is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and feels comfortable working closely with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• lead and coordinate project planning, execution and delivery within a technically complex cloud infrastructure environment,
• align engineering, architecture and business stakeholders around scope, priorities, milestones and acceptance criteria,
• manage timelines, dependencies, risks and open items,
• facilitate technical workshops, reviews and decision-making sessions,
• work closely with cloud architects and infrastructure engineers on IaaS topics such as compute, storage and networking,
• coordinate automation and DevOps workstreams, including topics related to Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD,
• manage cooperation with external cloud providers and relevant SAP teams,
• maintain key project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers and decision records,
• provide clear project status updates to senior stakeholders and translate technical progress into business-relevant messages.

Skills and experience you will need:

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of project or program management experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering,
• familiarity with at least one major hyperscaler: AWS, GCP or Azure,
• solid understanding of IaaS fundamentals, including compute, storage and networking,
• working knowledge of infrastructure automation, including IaC, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and configuration management practices,
• experience leading technically complex, cross-functional projects,
• strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
• experience managing external vendors or providers,
• proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
