Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Description The Owner role at Play Football Asia is a part-time remote position responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the social enterprise. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing partnership development with businesses, charities, schools, and football organizations, and guiding the design of sustainable football and community programs. The role involves managing key stakeholder relationships, supervising consultancy and collaborative projects, and ensuring that commercial activities align with the mission and community impact goals. The Owner will monitor financial performance, support business development opportunities across Asia, and work closely with local partners to understand community needs and develop long-term models. This role also includes representing the organization in external meetings and events, promoting its vision, and maintaining governance and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess experience in business leadership, social enterprise management, or organizational governance, with a strong understanding of strategic planning and sustainable growth.
• Candidates should possess skills in partnership development, stakeholder management, and relationship building across diverse sectors and cultures.
• Candidates should possess competencies in project oversight, impact-focused program design, and monitoring community-based initiatives.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of football development or sports-for-development programs, and an interest in using sport as a vehicle for social change.
• Candidates should possess strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment.
• Candidates should possess financial literacy and basic understanding of budgeting, revenue generation, and resource allocation in a mission-driven context.
• Experience working in Asian markets or with international NGOs, charities, or educational institutions is beneficial.
• A relevant degree in business, social entrepreneurship, international development, sports management, or a related field is advantageous, or equivalent experience in a leadership capacity.
