The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, coordinate site personnel, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with project drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, practical construction knowledge, and the ability to resolve site issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Coordinate site engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers.
• Monitor project progress and report delays, resource requirements, and site constraints.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets required quality standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements across construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE construction regulations and project procedures.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and work schedules before execution.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, manpower allocation, and site logistics.
• Identify construction defects, technical issues, and potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress records, inspection checklists, and relevant documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and engineers to resolve site issues.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed according to contractual requirements.
• Support inspections, testing, snagging, and handover activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, material storage, and safe access throughout the site.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and outstanding issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• At least 5–8 years of construction site supervision experience.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, quality control, and site safety.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and resolve construction issues.
• Good communication, leadership, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and site procedures is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

• Construction supervision or site management certification.
• Relevant health and safety training.
• First Aid, IOSH, or other recognized safety qualifications.
