SENIOR RECRUITER – IT & PROFESSIONAL STAFFING
Turn healthcare talent into measurable client impact.
Bloomfield Hills, MI | Full-time | Hybrid | Experienced
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Recruiter who excels at identifying hard-to-find talent, building candidate relationships, and converting recruiting opportunities into successful placements.
This is not a traditional corporate HR position. It is a performance-driven, full-cycle agency recruiting role requiring strong sourcing skills, urgency, sound judgment, persuasive communication, disciplined execution, and the ability to close.
What You’ll Do
- Own assigned requisitions from intake and sourcing strategy through candidate placement and successful start.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified candidates, including passive talent who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
- Leverage Bullhorn, AI-enabled sourcing tools, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, professional networks, and direct outreach to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Translate client requirements into targeted searches, effective screening questions, and compelling candidate messaging.
- Evaluate candidates for technical and professional qualifications, accomplishments, motivation, compensation expectations, availability, and potential risks.
- Conduct consultative interviews and prepare accurate, persuasive candidate submissions aligned with client requirements.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, manage competing opportunities, anticipate counteroffers, negotiate effectively, and close placements.
- Manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities while meeting aggressive submission deadlines.
- Maintain accurate Bullhorn records, strong candidate relationships, and consistent follow-through throughout the recruiting process.
- Use recruiting metrics and conversion data to improve sourcing effectiveness, candidate quality, and placement results.
- Share market intelligence, collaborate with delivery teams, and support the development of less-experienced recruiters.
What We’re Looking For
- Three or more years of successful full-cycle agency or professional staffing recruiting experience, preferably in IT, technology, consulting, business operations, or other specialized professional disciplines.
- Demonstrated success consistently meeting or exceeding recruiting and placement goals.
- Strong direct sourcing capabilities, including the ability to identify and engage qualified candidates beyond traditional job-board applicants.
- Proven ability to qualify candidates, build trust, influence decisions, manage objections, and close offers.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven staffing environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and disciplined candidate follow-up.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies, industries, and job requirements quickly and translate them into effective recruiting strategies.
- Experience using Bullhorn or a comparable ATS/CRM, along with modern sourcing and recruiting technologies.
- Comfort using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity while independently validating candidate qualifications and fit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Experience recruiting healthcare IT, EHR, payer operations, analytics, or healthcare business operations professionals is a plus, but healthcare industry experience is not required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
