About the Company

We are partnering with a high-growth, specialist search firm to hire a M&A Recruiter into their London team. This is a high-impact hire into a specialist practice focused on corporate development, strategy, and deal professionals within private equity-backed, fast-growth tech and tech-enabled businesses.

About the Role

This Role is working for an Executive Search / Recruitment firm in the Recruitment Industry. You will join a growing M&A / Corporate Development practice delivering mandates across:

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Development Managers / Directors
  • M&A / Strategy professionals (Associate to Director level)
  • Origination and deal sourcing specialists
  • Transaction-focused hires within PE-backed portfolio companies

The role offers exposure to high-value, senior mandates, working closely with CFOs, CEOs, and leadership teams within high-growth, PE-backed businesses.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Focused on PE-backed portfolio companies – working on hires that directly impact value creation and growth
  • Front-office, high-impact roles – deal, strategy, and corporate development professionals
  • High fee levels – typical mandates in the £60k–£80k range
  • Retained / exclusive search exposure – strong proportion of high-quality, controlled work
  • Established but scaling platform – strong foundations with clear growth trajectory

The Role

  • Build and develop a M&A / Corporate Development desk within PE-backed, high-growth businesses
  • Act as a client-facing, revenue-generating 360 recruiter
  • Win and deliver mandates with:
  • Portfolio company CFOs, CEOs, and strategy leaders
  • Senior stakeholders within fast-growth, PE-backed environments
  • Run searches end-to-end:
  • Mandate qualification and scoping
  • Market mapping and headhunting
  • Candidate management, shortlist, and close
  • Build a strong network of deal, strategy, and M&A talent
  • Contribute to the growth and positioning of the wider M&A practice

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a 360 recruiter (ideally financial)
  • Strong billing track record and ability to win business
  • Comfortable working on senior, niche mandates

Preferred Skills

  • Highly client-facing, confident with senior stakeholders
  • Natural business developer
  • Able to operate in a consultative, high-value market

Pay range and compensation package

Base salary: £40,000 – £80,000 (depending on experience and track record)

Strong commission structure aligned to high billings

Hybrid working model (London-based)
