Senior RFIC Verification Engineer - Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior RFIC Verification Engineer to join a leading global semiconductor organisation on a contract basis.

This is a highly specialised position focused on analogue mixed-signal (AMS) verification of complete RF transceiver chains (Rx/Tx). The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on RFIC experience, strong simulation capabilities and expertise in Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-chain verification of RF receiver (Rx) and transmitter (Tx) designs, covering RF and analogue signal paths.

• Develop, execute and analyse analogue mixed-signal (AMS) simulations.

• Review RFIC block specifications and validate design performance against technical requirements.

• Investigate simulation failures, identify root causes and support design improvements.

• Work closely with chip leads and design engineers on integration and verification activities.

• Present simulation results, verification progress and specification compliance during technical design reviews.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' hands-on RFIC design or verification experience within the semiconductor industry.

• Strong AMS simulation experience, specifically involving RF and analogue integrated circuits.

• Proven experience verifying complete RF transceiver chains (Rx and Tx), rather than individual RF blocks alone.

• Practical experience with both Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS for modelling, simulation or verification.

• Strong understanding of RF/analogue circuit behaviour, performance specifications and simulation debugging.

• Experience identifying, analysing and resolving specification failures at chip or subsystem level.
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Digital verification experience.

• Experience working on complex RFIC or wireless semiconductor products.

• Familiarity with RFIC design integration and cross-functional chip development teams.
