Job Summary
The Senior Sales Development Representative (Senior SDR) will play a crucial role in expanding the client footprint in Ghana. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential customers to build a strong sales pipeline. As a Senior SDR, you will work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth
Job Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Lead Qualification
• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate high-quality leads.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring they meet the ideal customer profile.
• Engage with prospects to understand their needs and position the client's solutions effectively.
• Book qualified meetings and demos for the sales team (Account Executives).
Sales Strategy & Performance
• Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to improve conversion rates.
• Work closely with Marketing to align outreach efforts with campaigns and messaging.
• Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, update pipelines, and provide insights.
• Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Mentorship & Collaboration
• Serve as a mentor to junior SDRs, providing training, coaching, and guidance.
• Share best practices and support the team in improving sales performance.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in Ghana.
• Provide feedback to sales leadership on customer pain points and emerging opportunities
Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead generation targets.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating high-quality leads.
• Experience in the SaaS industry or selling B2B software solutions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, CRM tools, and prospecting strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience working with African markets is a plus
