Senior Sales Manager – Sponsorship, Partnerships & Exhibitions

💰 Salary: AED 12,000 – 15,000 per month + commission

📍 Dubai (remote-first, with client-facing travel across the Emirates and wider GCC)

📄 Fixed-term contract until April 2027 | Start: ASAP

About the event

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading consumer event in Dubai, a flagship gaming, esports and pop-culture festival. The most recent edition welcomed 40,000+ visitors alongside a strong line-up of sponsors, exhibitors and publishers, with consistent year-on-year footfall growth. Its audience is highly engaged, with strong interests in gaming, anime and technology.

Role summary

Own the commercial revenue line for the 2027 edition end to end: build the market map and pipeline, open doors, pitch and negotiate, close and contract deals, and hand over delivery-ready partners. This is a proactive new-business role, with no reliance on inbound leads and no account-servicing remit.

Key responsibilities

Pipeline generation and market mapping

  • Build and maintain a target list across gaming, technology, telecoms, FMCG, F&B, automotive, banking, retail, education and entertainment, mapping brand- and agency-level decision-makers.
  • Self-generate opportunities through direct outreach, industry events, agency relationships, existing networks, referrals and cold approach, securing meetings independently.
  • Develop tailored proposals that link brand objectives to the event, including category-exclusive opportunities around new zones and features planned for 2027; lead pitching, negotiation and close.

Contracting and handover

  • Own the sales cycle through LOIs, contracts and purchase orders, working with finance on invoicing and collection.
  • Prepare a complete handover pack for every closed partner (signed terms, deliverables, technical requirements, branding assets, contacts and payment status) and support operations and production through onboarding and on-site delivery.

Reporting

  • Submit a weekly report covering pipeline movement by stage, signed revenue against target, meetings held, deals at risk, blockers and priorities for the week ahead; keep a live, shared pipeline tracker up to date.
  • Review progress weekly with the designated lead and bi-weekly with the client, escalating anything that materially affects revenue, layout or delivery.

Who we're looking for

  • Proven commercial track record in sponsorship, partnership, media, exhibition or event sales, with specific deals you can discuss and experience owning the full cycle from lead generation to contracting, collection and handover.
  • Self-starter who has built a pipeline from scratch, set their own priorities and delivered without day-to-day supervision.
  • GCC network of brand and agency relationships that can be activated from week one.
  • Gaming-sector knowledge: a practical understanding of publishers, platforms and the wider gaming, esports and entertainment ecosystem, and what brands want from it.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong proposal-writing skills.
  • Based in Dubai / the Emirates, with a valid local driving licence.

Interested? Apply via LinkedIn with your CV and a short note on two or three sponsorship or partnership deals you've closed.
