Role Description The Senior Sales Marketing Manager is a contract role responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion for SMAC’s AI platforms in the power generation and energy sectors. This is a hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. Day-to-day activities include developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and building strong relationships with key accounts and industry partners. The role involves creating targeted campaigns, overseeing digital and offline marketing initiatives, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to align messaging with customer needs. The Senior Sales Marketing Manager will also analyze market trends, track performance metrics, and provide leadership in refining go-to-market plans and customer engagement approaches.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales leadership and account management within B2B technology, preferably in energy, industrial, or engineering-focused solutions.
- Strong marketing skills across strategy, campaign planning, digital channels, and content development to support lead generation and brand awareness.
- Ability to translate complex technical offerings into clear value propositions and customer-focused messaging.
- Experience working in or with the power generation, utilities, or broader energy sector is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated skills in data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and performance analysis using CRM and marketing analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and technical teams.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, managing priorities independently, and collaborating effectively across remote and on-site teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- EGP 10,000 total fixed monthly package.
- % commission on net subscription revenue collected during the first 12 months from new customers personally acquired and closed.
- % commission on collected renewals for accounts actively managed by the employee.
Commission calculations exclude taxes, refunds, and cancelled transactions. Detailed eligibility and payment terms will be included in the employment agreement.
