Senior SAP CAP/BTP Developer

We are hiring a Senior SAP BTP/CAP Developer who knows how to deliver enterprise services using current best practices. This role puts you in charge of designing and rolling out scalable, event-driven microservices within BTP, connecting foundational SAP systems to modern cloud-based APIs through the use of CAP, Node.js/Java, and strong security measures

Responsibilities

• Design and build out enterprise-grade microservices and extensions leveraging SAP CAP
• Produce high-performing backend architecture using Node.js and/or Java
• Construct integration pathways between SAP BTP, key SAP systems including S/4HANA, and outside APIs via OData and REST
• Set up dependable cloud security, encompassing identity propagation and authorization, through the application of XSUAA and the BTP Destination Service

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related area
• A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience
• Hands-on background delivering enterprise-grade applications built on the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• Strong technical ability in Node.js and/or Java for backend microservices work
• Experience linking SAP BTP to core SAP tools and external APIs, including both REST and OData formats
• Understanding of SAP BTP security practices, XSUAA-driven authentication, and destination handling
• Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)

Nice to have

• SAP BTP certification, for instance SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, which would add meaningful value to your profile
• Experience applying SAP Fiori elements combined with event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh
