Senior Scrum Master (Financial Services Technology)

IT Search is recruiting an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join the Sales & Trading technology division of a leading international financial services organisation (Hybrid working in Dublin 2)

This is a senior Agile delivery role, working closely with software engineering teams, Product Owners and technology leadership to improve delivery performance across complex, enterprise-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across one or more software engineering teams.
• Coach development teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices.
• Identify and remove delivery impediments, managing risks and cross-team dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement in team performance, delivery predictability and engineering practices.
• Work closely with Engineering Managers, Architects and Product Owners to support effective delivery.
• Use Agile metrics to improve efficiency, quality and delivery outcomes.

Experience Required

• 8+ years' experience as a Scrum Master within a technology environment.
• Strong background working with software engineering teams and enterprise-scale systems.
• Proven experience coaching Agile teams and improving delivery performance.
• Good understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior technology leadership.
• Experience in financial services, investment banking or capital markets would be advantageous.
• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe) desirable but not essential.
