What You'll Do Review and analyze new feature requirements and design specifications Collaborate closely with the development team to define testing strategies for various components Develop and execute comprehensive functional test plans and test cases, both automated and manual Create test coverage reports and other quality-related documentation Perform project and defect tracking using standard tools and processes Drive and enforce QA best practices and continuous process improvements What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in a software Quality Assurance role 4+ years of experience in a QA Automation role Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) Basic programming skills with one of the following: JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Java or Python. Ability to support, maintain and execute automated functional tests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience using issue/project tracking tools such as JIRA Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with test case management systems (e.g., Qase, TestRail, Zephyr) Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools Nice to Have Experience with AI tooling to aid in test case generation and developing automated tests (OpenAI, GitHub Copilot, etc.) SQL skills (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL) Location Payscale Romania has an employee centric hybrid model that provides you the flexibility to do your best work in a space that supports you, while also finding time to collaborate in person in our office for the moments that matter.
