Senior Security Engineer – IAM & Authentication

Our client, a prominent organization in the legal and administrative sector, is seeking an experienced professional to manage and evolve their security solutions. This role balances day-to-day operations with strategic security projects to ensure robust identity and access management across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define security requirements to support organizational projects.
• Configure, support, and maintain security tools to ensure continuous protection.
• Manage identity components, user accounts, and complex provisioning processes.
• Implement and maintain advanced access management components and infrastructure.
• Monitor security systems to improve observability and defend against unauthorized access.
• Provide expert technical advice on OAuth and OpenID Connect protocols.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar technical capacity.
• 5+ years in Security and identity focusing on IAM, Active Directory, and Open LDAP.
• 5+ years of experience with OAuth and OpenID Connect authentication protocols.
• 3+ years working within SSDLC, RUP, and Agile methodologies.
• You possess practical scripting knowledge in Linux and Windows environments.
• You bring a solid understanding of application firewalls and web services security.
• You're proactive, solution-oriented, and a clear communicator.
• You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
  
  

Nice to Haves

• Previous professional experience in network security.
• Knowledge of web services within Auth0.
• Familiarity with Okta or SailPoint.
