Senior SEO & Social Media Specialist Job Overview RGC Digital Marketing is seeking a high-caliber Senior SEO & Social Media Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of agency experience. In 2026, the search and social landscape has fundamentally evolved; you will be responsible for moving beyond simple keyword metrics to manage advanced SEO & AI Search Visibility (including Answer Engine Optimisation / AEO) alongside high-converting, organic social brand systems for Australia’s leading consumer brands. Key Responsibilities AEO & Advanced SEO: Execute end-to-end SEO frameworks (Technical, Enterprise, Local, and E-commerce) specifically tailored for zero-click environments and Answer Engine Optimization. Content & Social Integration: Collaboratively work with our in-house design and copywriting teams to conceptualize and post organic content that elevates brand positioning across major social networks. Growth Diagnostics: Audit and diagnose organic pipeline drops, implementing architectural, on-page, and backlink strategies that yield clear, measurable revenue increases. Transparent Client Communication: Interpret complex search and organic social metrics into straightforward, strategic growth reports for enterprise clients. Must-Haves & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated, proven experience handling complex SEO and Organic Social strategies within a fast-paced agency framework. Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and native social analytics suites. AI & Search Literacy: Practical experience adapting SEO architecture for AI search environments (Google SGE, Perplexity, etc.) via highly structured schema and FAQ content deployment. Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills—capable of working directly with major brand partners without an intermediary account manager.
