Senior Software Developer — BPS Tech Enterprises

Remote within Pakistan | Full-time

This post appears through the Snyder Tech account, but the role is employed by BPS Tech Enterprises, our Pakistan company. BPS primarily supports Snyder Tech USA with software development and other parts of its business, while building its own business plan, direction, and culture in Pakistan.

Pakistan-based hiring contact: Aakif Sami (https://www.linkedin.com/in/aakif94/). Please apply through this LinkedIn posting.

We are an AI-forward company. AI is at the center of how we build software, test it, document it, and review it. We are looking for a senior developer with excellent spoken and written English who already builds this way: someone who directs AI agents in the repository every day, knows when their output is wrong, and ships work they can stand behind.

You will work on real client projects for U.S. businesses, working directly with our U.S. team and joining client technical discussions. You will use tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Grok, and whatever proves best next to plan, implement, debug, and test features. You remain accountable for the correctness, security, and quality of everything you ship, whether you typed it or an agent did.

We care most about how you think. A clear, organized engineer who learns quickly will do better here than someone who happens to match every item in our stack.

What you will do

• Own features from requirement to release: clarify what is needed, plan the approach, build it with AI agents and by hand, test it, and see it through deployment.

• Work in the repository every day with AI tools. Give agents useful context, break work into steps they can do well, and catch invented APIs, missed edge cases, and unsupported claims before they reach review.

• Review pull requests from developers and AI agents for correctness, security, performance, maintainability, and actual test results.

• Debug issues across the application, API, database, and deployment layers, and write up what caused them and how they were fixed.

• Write and maintain automated tests. Work is not done until it has been verified.

• Keep technical decisions and setup notes in the repository so the next developer or agent can pick up where you left off.

• Join technical conversations with clients and the U.S. team. Explain options and tradeoffs plainly in excellent English, give honest estimates, and raise risks early.

• Mentor other developers on code quality and AI-assisted development.

What you bring

• Excellent spoken and written English. You can lead a technical conversation with a U.S. client or colleague, listen closely, explain a complex issue plainly, and write a clear pull request description or follow-up without someone translating for you.

• A strong, organized mind. You break ambiguous problems into clear steps, reason from evidence, keep your work and notes in order, and make sound decisions when the answer is not obvious.

• A track record of learning quickly. You have picked up new languages, frameworks, and codebases and become productive in them, and you enjoy doing it.

• 10+ years of professional software development, including production work on web applications, APIs, and databases.

• Real, daily experience building software with AI coding agents. We care more about how well you direct and check them than about experience with any one named product.

• Strong code review judgment, including for code you did not write by hand.

• Solid Git and pull request habits, automated testing, and CI/CD and deployment experience.

• Availability for regular overlap with U.S. Eastern business hours for team and client meetings.

Technologies we use

Most of our work is in TypeScript (React, TanStack Start, and Angular) and C# and .NET, running mainly on Cloudflare (Workers and Pages), with some Azure and Docker. Code, pull requests, and CI/CD live in GitHub. We also use Python for AI and data work. AWS experience is welcome, though we do not use it much.

For data, we use SQL and SurrealDB. Beyond that, we want a solid understanding of database concepts: relational, document, graph, key-value, and real-time models, and when each one fits. SurrealDB covers a broad range of these, so the concepts matter more than experience with any particular database product. Deep experience in several of these is a strong plus. You do not need all of them, and we expect you to learn the rest quickly.

A particular degree is not required.

To apply: Send your resume and briefly describe a production feature or system you built that shows your technical depth. Tell us how you used AI to build it, what you personally designed, reviewed, or corrected, and how you verified it worked. Mention a technology you had to learn quickly and how you got productive in it.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief spoken-English screening by recording answers to a few development and communication questions.
