At Meraki Talent we are working with an ambitious, fast-growing technology company and seek a Senior Software Developer to help design, build, and operate the core systems that power this organisation.

About the role:

You'll own key platform components, influence technical decisions, mentor other developers, and solve complex engineering challenges in a highly collaborative environment.

The technology stack sits on an AWS platform and there is an emphasis on back-end development to begin with, but this is a full stack role (With an AI-led development approach but a background in e.g. React, Node.JS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Terraform etc. would be useful). The organisation has a clear product direction though you will play a pivotal role in e.g. Feature design and be a key contributor to a newly forming engineering team.

About you:

• Solid full-stack development experience
• Experience in building and operating production systems
• Experience with distributed/event-driven architectures
• SQL and database knowledge (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Testing, monitoring, incident management, and operating to security best practices
• An ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions

Nice to Have

• Fintech/Payments experience
• PCI DSS or regulated environment exposure
• TypeScript, AWS
• Experience using AI-powered development tools
