The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior / Staff Software Engineer to help architect, build, and scale next-generation AI-powered software products.

This is a highly hands-on engineering opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, designing distributed systems, and developing scalable full-stack applications.

You will work across the entire development lifecycle, from architecture and system design to implementation, deployment, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, build, and deploy complex full-stack web applications.
• Develop and scale high-throughput distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Build and launch multi-step AI agents to automate complex operational workflows.
• Develop scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build backend services using Node.js, Express, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into enterprise software products.
• Improve backend infrastructure, system observability, reliability, and performance.
• Design and optimize complex relational database schemas and data-processing systems.
• Implement secure, maintainable, and scalable software architectures.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams while maintaining strong hands-on coding involvement.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 12–25 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack web application development experience, from design through production deployment.
• Experience working at high-growth, venture-backed technology startups, FAANG organizations, or product-led software companies.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, with demonstrable experience building complex production systems.
• Strong experience with React on the frontend and Node.js / Express on the backend.
• Experience with GraphQL / Apollo and PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience designing and scaling high-throughput distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Docker and containerized application environments.
• Experience designing scalable architectures, complex database schemas, and performant data-processing systems.
• Strong understanding of application security and data protection.
• Demonstrated career stability and professional progression.
• Ability and willingness to remain deeply involved in hands-on coding and production engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-powered products and working with modern AI development lifecycles, including evaluations, experimentation, and dataset curation.
• Experience developing reliable, production-grade AI agents and LLM-powered workflows.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture and multi-tenant applications.
• SRE-oriented mindset with experience improving system reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis / ElastiCache, AWS ECS, and RDS.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Product-oriented engineering mindset.
• Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers.
