Senior Software Engineer - Distributed Systems

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and lead the development of scalable and reliable distributed systems. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining systems that handle large-scale, data-intensive workloads. Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable distributed systems to handle large-scale, data-intensive workloads. Implement microservices and event-driven applications, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. Ensure rigorous testing, monitoring, and automation of deployment processes. Manage and optimize systems across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers. About You: You have 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, or a similar language. You have extensive experience with distributed systems. You have experience with microservices and event-driven applications. You understand why testing and monitoring software, automating deployment, and knowing hardware requirements are important. You have experience with AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP. You are skilled in SQL. You have experience with Kafka. Experience with Kubernetes is a plus. Experience with Vector Databases is a plus. Experience with Machine Learning is a plus. You enjoy learning new things and trying different solutions. You value a healthy work-life balance; we don’t like overtime.
