About FIX Partner
FIX Partner is an AI-driven software development company based in Vietnam. We help global businesses design, build, test, modernize, and operate dependable technology solutions across software engineering, cloud, data, AI, DevOps, and quality engineering.
We are hiring a Senior Solution Engineer to join a client engagement involving enterprise cloud, data, and AI solutions. You will work as part of FIX Partner’s delivery team and collaborate directly with the client’s technical and business stakeholders during EU working hours.
About the Role
As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will take ownership of solution design and technical delivery across AWS, Snowflake, data engineering, and AI-enabled systems.
You will translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, contribute hands-on to implementation, and guide solutions from discovery through production deployment. The role requires a balance of architecture expertise, engineering capability, delivery ownership, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FIX Partner and client stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical constraints, and expected outcomes.
- Translate requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solution architectures.
- Design enterprise cloud solutions using AWS core services, serverless technologies, and event-driven patterns.
- Design, build, and optimize Snowflake-based data platforms, models, and pipelines.
- Develop backend services, integrations, automation tools, and data-processing components using Python and/or Java.
- Deliver enterprise-grade solutions end-to-end—from discovery and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Implement Snowflake performance optimization, access control, data quality, governance, and cost-management practices.
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and DevOps processes.
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Design and integrate AI-powered capabilities using Amazon Bedrock, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI agents.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools to accelerate research, implementation, testing, documentation, and refactoring while maintaining human accountability.
- Evaluate architecture trade-offs and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early.
- Produce clear architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation guidelines.
- Mentor engineers and support technical decision-making across the delivery team.
- Participate actively in client meetings and collaborate reliably during EU working hours.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade systems from initial discovery to production.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS architecture and core services.
- Experience designing serverless, event-driven, highly available, and scalable cloud solutions.
- Strong hands-on Snowflake experience, including:
- Data architecture and modelling
- Query and warehouse optimization
- Data ingestion and transformation
- Security and access management
- Data governance and cost control
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Experience designing and operating scalable data pipelines and enterprise integrations.
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, observability, and production operations.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Good understanding of cloud security, data protection, reliability, and disaster-recovery principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making skills.
- Confident communication with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and client leadership.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above.
- Ability to work remotely with consistent availability during EU business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, fintech, insurance, or another regulated financial environment.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and generative AI solutions.
- Knowledge of RAG architecture, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.
- Experience implementing enterprise data governance and regulatory controls.
- AWS and/or Snowflake certifications.
- Experience with client workshops, technical discovery, solution estimation, or pre-sales activities.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, or equivalent platforms.
