Key expectations include developing standard operating procedures and benchmarks across the recruitment lifecycle—from talent planning and sourcing to candidate screening, evaluation, selection, offer management and negotiation, candidate status management, and new hire onboarding. The role combines hands-on recruitment expertise with advisory partnership, guiding leaders and collaborating with teams to meet organizational talent needs and continuously strengthen recruitment practices.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and consistent recruitment practices in partnership with stakeholders, covering workforce planning, job advertising and posting, candidate screening and evaluation, and candidate engagement. Embed objective hiring standards and compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Develop targeted sourcing strategies with hiring managers and HR partners, using talent market intelligence to inform recruitment plans. Build candidate pipelines through networking, career fairs, and relationships with colleges, universities, and professional associations. Share regular progress updates to support current and future hiring needs.
Provide specialist expertise and manage day-to-day administration of recruitment technologies, including HCM, recruitment management, and applicant tracking systems. Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to support system integration and compatibility across recruitment platforms.
Provide specialist guidance on the organization’s online recruitment presence, recruitment marketing and advertising, employer branding, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and vendor relationships. Translate this expertise into practical recommendations for senior stakeholders, aligned with established policies and processes.
Design training programs that strengthen hiring managers’ capabilities in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and talent assessment. Incorporate organizational priorities, industry trends, and recruitment best practices to support effective hiring.
Represent the organization in recruitment-related engagements with regulatory bodies, external consultants, vendors, and other agencies. Build productive working relationships that support organizational interests and recruitment objectives.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing channels, employer branding, candidate experience, and recruitment workflows. Partner with stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements aligned with long-term organizational plans.
Establish standards, processes, and templates for accurate recordkeeping and confidential handling of talent acquisition data. Develop reports and analytics that highlight recruitment trends, inform decisions, and guide continuous improvement.
Advise senior leaders on talent acquisition decisions by applying in-depth expertise in sourcing, assessment, and recruitment strategy. Help shape and execute talent acquisition initiatives that support organizational hiring priorities.
