Join the team to develop a flagship cloud product used by engineering professionals worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to act as a quality advocate, drive our automation and manual testing strategies, and shape robust, scalable solutions in an international AWS environment.

What will you do?

  • Design comprehensive software testing plans and execute both manual and automated tests, utilizing C#, Selenium, and Playwright.
  • Guide the team on automation best practices - identifying the right scenarios and timing for effective test automation.
  • Advocate for "testability" early in the process during the design, grooming, and development phases.
  • Monitor production quality, coordinate defect management, and ensure timely resolution of quality risks.
  • Participate in functional testing within CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and secure product releases.
  • Work closely and proactively with developers, Product Owners, and IT partners, providing clear test results and identifying regression areas.

What do we expect?

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering using C# / .NET, xUnit frameworks, and Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
  • Strong background in testing web applications built with .NET Core, microservices, RESTful APIs, and AngularJS (including cross-browser/cross-device validation).
  • Solid knowledge of databases and SQL (ability to write CRUD operations, work with JOINs, and validate data flows).
  • Practical understanding of Docker containerization basics and AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS).
  • Experience working in Agile environments and utilizing Azure DevOps for bug tracking and defect management.
  • Fluent English (min. B2) - as it is our primary language for daily communication.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as K6 or CloudTest.

What do we offer?

  • Employment type: Contract of Employment (UoP) up to 24,000 PLN gross (initial 3-month contract, followed by an indefinite period).
  • Copyright Tax Deduction (KuP): Available based on the actual creative work reported.
  • Annual Bonus: Performance-based bonus (around 5% or more if company targets are exceeded), paid out in March.
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off: Access to additional paid days off for rest or family needs once the statutory 26 days are utilized (subject to manager approval).
  • Wellbeing Budget: 2,000 PLN per year to spend on wellness activities and items.
  • Flexible Schedule: Task-based working hours with morning dailies (around 9:00-9:30 AM) and an occasional sync with the US team (up to 5:00 PM once a week).
  • Benefits Package: Private medical care (Medicover) and MultiSport card.
  • Work Model: Hybrid (3 days a week from the office, Alchemia - Gdańsk Przymorze).

Recruitment Process:

  1. Prescreening Call - a short introductory chat about your expectations and experience.
  2. Technical Interview (1 hour on MS Teams) - a meeting with the Hiring Manager focused strictly on your practical experience and the technologies listed in the job description. No live-coding tasks involved.
