Interested in a career that matters?

Do you want to shape strategic transformation in Quality and help accelerate the move from classical reactive control to predictive data-driven quality operations?

Join Quality Insights and Optimization and help transform Quality from traditional reactive control and follow-up toward predictive, data-driven operations.

You will become part of a team of independent experts working to challenge the status quo, drive continuous improvement and use data, AI and automation to create smarter ways of working. Today, the team includes statisticians, a data scientist and strategic project managers, and we are expanding our capabilities to accelerate process optimization and AI-driven innovation across Quality.

The role & your impact
As Senior Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will drive the development and execution of Quality’s strategic portfolio, including Quality’s contribution to the Decoupling Cost from Growth program and Quality’s AI product portfolio.

You will own and continuously evolve our portfolio-management approach, ensuring initiatives are prioritized and governed according to strategic value, business impact, feasibility, dependencies, resources and expected benefits. Working globally and across functions, you will provide leadership with the insights and recommendations needed to make informed portfolio decisions and turn strategic ambitions into measurable outcomes.

Your key responsibilities in this role

  • Shape and manage Quality’s strategic portfolio: Continuously develop the strategic initiative portfolio and portfolio-management approach, ensuring clear prioritization, governance, sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Lead Quality’s DCFG portfolio: Coordinate Quality’s portfolio across the five Quality tracks and represent Quality in the broader Operations Decoupling Cost from Growth program.
  • Drive the AI product portfolio: Shape the vision, roadmap, prioritization and lifecycle management of Quality’s AI products, ensuring solutions address validated user needs, workflow challenges and value opportunities.
  • Enable effective portfolio decisions: Assess strategic value, business impact, feasibility, dependencies, risks, resources and investment needs, providing leadership with consolidated insights and recommendations on scope, sequencing and trade-offs.
  • Drive performance and benefit realization: Own consolidated portfolio reporting across progress, milestones, risks, financial impact and expected outcomes, and partner with program owners and Finance to ensure benefits are defined, validated, tracked and sustained.
  • Build alignment and shared accountability: Collaborate across Quality, Operations, Finance, IT, Data, program owners, sponsors and senior stakeholders, leading through influence to resolve dependencies, manage risks and turn decisions into execution.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role
We are looking for someone who combines substantial strategic portfolio-management experience with strong business judgement and the ability to create alignment in a complex global organization.

You bring:

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in business, science, engineering, Quality, technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing strategic project portfolios in a complex global organization, including governance, prioritization, sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including experience developing business cases, evaluating investments and tracking benefits.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations and decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build alignment and lead through influence across functions and organizational levels.
  • A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, combined with the confidence to challenge constructively, navigate ambiguity and drive execution.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Additional skills & interests we value
It would be an advantage if you:

  • Understand how large manufacturing companies operate, particularly within quality management processes.
  • Have experience with digital transformation or AI portfolios and can connect technology opportunities with user needs, business priorities and measurable value.
  • Are comfortable working at the intersection of strategy, technology, operations and business transformation.
  • Bring curiosity about AI and emerging ways of working, while maintaining a pragmatic focus on business value and responsible implementation.

What we offer you
You will join Quality Insights and Optimization at an exciting point in the team’s development, as we expand our capabilities in process optimization and AI-driven process innovation.

You will work alongside Statisticians, a Data Scientist and Strategic Project Managers, while collaborating broadly with colleagues and senior stakeholders across Quality and other functions globally.

The position provides an opportunity to influence both what we improve and how we work, connecting strategic transformation, data, AI and business impact. You will operate with significant independence and have the opportunity to shape portfolio-management practices and help move Quality toward more predictive and data-driven operations.

Working conditions
We follow an office-first principle, with the option to work from home 1–2 days per week.

The position is based in Denmark and involves extensive collaboration with colleagues globally, both within and outside Quality. You should expect approximately 5–15 travel days per year outside Denmark.

Application deadline: November 8th, 2026. We will screen incoming applications and invite for interviews continuously during the application period, so please apply as soon as possible. Please note that we only accept applications via our Career Site.
