As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will operate as a hands-on IT generalist, responsible for managing and improving infrastructure across multiple locations. You will ensure systems, networks, and services are secure, stable, and high-performing. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and applications Administer Cisco networks (routing, switching, LAN/WAN) Support and optimise VMware virtual environments Maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues Manage backup and disaster recovery processes Handle incident and problem management (ITIL-based) Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support Maintain clear technical documentation Support global operations and remote sites Requirements: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking and VMware Solid knowledge of Windows Server environments and core services Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills in an international environment Compensation & Benefits: Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 gross per year (excluding 8% holiday allowance) Full-time role (40 hours per week) with a 4/1 hybrid model (4 days office, 1 day remote) 25 vacation days annually Fully reimbursed travel allowance Office in Haarlem, easily accessible by car and public transport International team with regular social events Training and professional development opportunities How to Apply Contact Jan Andries Stam at +31 20 614 27 11 (also available via WhatsApp) for more information or submit your CV via Human Capital’s website or click I am interested below!
