Senior Test Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Working as a part of global and diversified team to test changes to the application

· Focus on the analysis and functional understanding of the Revenue Management designed system

· Design test cases based on requirements/user stories in continuous cooperation with BA, Dev and other testers

· Propose new automated testing solutions and develop current ones (Java and Selenium based)

· Continuously develop automated regression testing of the product

· Analyse test results, identify the point of bug occurrence in the system, report defects

· Operate proficiently in CI/CD environment (Jenkins)

· Proactively guide and support your peers with your knowledge and experience

· Keep the improvement momentum in the product team by initiating enhancements talks and presenting best practices

· Work on the test automation (Java/Jenkins/Selenium)

· Day-to-Day work with the other testers to agree on a common process and test approach

· Communicate the risks and lead in planning and estimation process.

What we require?

· Quality Assurance & Testing background

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)

· Advanced knowledge and experience in test automation (front- end and back-end)

· Java, Selenium (or Protractor) and chosen scripting language skills

· Linux skills

· Continuous Integration knowledge - server-side & configuration (Jenkins)

· Self-reliance and responsibility for assigned tasks

· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban

· Excellent team player.

Advantageous skills:

· Domain knowledge in the area of finance

· Working knowledge of AWS, creating and managing environments, virtual instances, AMIs, etc.

· ISTQB certification

· Experience of using JIRA (or equivalent tools).
