About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Systems Specialist to manage, optimize, and support the technology platforms used for treasury operations, cash management, liquidity monitoring, payments, bank connectivity, and financial risk reporting. The role will focus on treasury systems administration, business process improvement, data integrity, system integration, and operational controls. Working remotely, the specialist will collaborate with treasury, finance, IT, banking partners, and external technology providers to ensure systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support treasury management systems (TMS), cash management platforms, payment applications, and related financial technology solutions.
• Maintain system configurations, user roles, approval workflows, transaction parameters, and access permissions in accordance with internal policies.
• Monitor system performance, availability, interfaces, and scheduled processing activities.
• Support bank connectivity, electronic banking integrations, payment channels, and statement reporting interfaces.
• Coordinate the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of treasury systems and related applications.
• Translate treasury business requirements into functional specifications, system configurations, and technical change requests.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to investigate system incidents, integration failures, data discrepancies, and processing errors.
• Support testing activities for system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration records, operating procedures, and user guidance.
• Monitor data quality across bank accounts, cash positions, payment records, financial transactions, and reporting outputs.
• Support automation of treasury processes, including cash positioning, payment reconciliation, liquidity reporting, and bank statement processing.
• Review system access, segregation of duties, approval controls, and audit trails to identify control weaknesses.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate that system changes meet approved business requirements.
• Prepare system performance reports, incident summaries, and operational metrics for treasury and technology management.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning, business continuity testing, and treasury system resilience assessments.
• Provide remote training and technical guidance to treasury users and relevant finance stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with software vendors, banking technology teams, and implementation partners.
• Recommend system improvements that enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, security, and scalability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience supporting treasury management systems, financial applications, or banking technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity monitoring, payments, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Experience with one or more treasury platforms, such as SAP Treasury, Oracle Treasury, Kyriba, FIS, GTreasury, or comparable solutions.
• Knowledge of bank connectivity, SWIFT messaging, host-to-host integrations, APIs, and electronic banking interfaces.
• Familiarity with financial system integrations, data mapping, interface monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of user access management, segregation of duties, audit trails, and financial technology controls.
• Experience coordinating system upgrades, implementations, testing, and change management activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in investigating transaction and data discrepancies.
• Ability to prepare clear functional specifications, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with treasury, finance, IT, and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple system-related priorities independently.
• Professional treasury, finance, or technology certifications are an advantage.
