Are you a senior video editor with strong storytelling instincts, excellent attention to detail, and experience creating engaging short-form content?

True Blue Assist is looking for a Full-Time Senior Video Editor to support an established video production and social content agency based in Auckland, New Zealand.

You'll be responsible for:

- Editing Reels, TikToks, paid social, and other short-form content

- Creating engaging 15–60 second videos from raw footage

- Identifying strong hooks, soundbites, and storytelling opportunities

- Turning longer interviews into multiple concise social media edits

- Selecting B-roll that supports the story and messaging

- Working independently from creative briefs with minimal hand-holding

- Editing footage from professional cameras, iPhones, and occasional drone footage

- Creating clean subtitles and text overlays

- Handling audio cleanup, levelling, and music selection

- Applying consistent colour correction and follow brand guidelines

- Organising raw footage, project files, exports, and client folders

- Adapting editing styles across different brands and industries

- Delivering high-quality work consistently and on schedule

Preferred Skills & Tools

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, short-form social media editing, audio, colour correction, subtitles, and professional camera footage is preferred. Google Drive experience and basic motion graphics skills are a plus.
