We are looking for an experienced Windchill Software Developer to support the development, configuration, and maintenance of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment using PTC Windchill 13.x.

The successful candidate must have hands-on experience working with Windchill version 13.x, with a strong understanding of standard out-of-the-box functionality. The project focuses on utilising and configuring existing Windchill capabilities rather than developing custom solutions.

You will work closely with engineering, product development, business, and IT teams to ensure the Windchill platform effectively supports product data management, engineering processes, and collaboration across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain solutions within PTC Windchill 13.x, primarily using standard out-of-the-box functionality.
• Configure and support existing Windchill capabilities to meet business and engineering requirements.
• Support product data management, including product structures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentation.
• Configure and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, version control, and change management processes.
• Support the management of parts, documents, CAD data, and associated product information.
• Analyse business requirements and identify how standard Windchill functionality can address them.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues within the Windchill environment.
• Support system testing, validation, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, business stakeholders, and IT teams to improve PLM processes and system usability.
• Ensure data quality, system reliability, and compliance with established PLM standards.
• Document configurations, processes, and technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to optimise existing Windchill functionality without introducing unnecessary custom development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM, specifically version 13.x.
• Proven experience working with standard out-of-the-box Windchill functionality.
• Experience configuring Windchill to support business and engineering processes without relying on custom development.
• Strong understanding of PLM concepts, product data management, and engineering change processes.
• Experience with product structures, BOM management, document management, and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill workflows, lifecycle templates, access controls, and change management.
• Understanding of CAD data management and integration with engineering systems.
• Experience troubleshooting Windchill technical and functional issues.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and map them to existing Windchill capabilities.
• Experience supporting testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with technical teams and business stakeholders in an international environment.

Important Project Requirements

• Windchill 13.x experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with out-of-the-box Windchill functionality is essential.
• The project does not require custom Windchill development.
• Candidates should be comfortable working primarily with standard platform capabilities and configuration.
• Candidates whose experience is focused exclusively on custom Windchill development may not be suitable for this assignment.
• Availability to attend the Stockholm office regularly under a hybrid working arrangement is required.
